Reflektion-Plus Consulting was founded by Dr Thomas Mischo who has been working in the financial services industry and advisory practice for almost thirty years.

Prior to setting up Reflektion-Plus Consulting, Thomas was Consulting Director with External link opens in new tab or windowMazars, a business advisory firm in Dublin, focusing on internal audit and risk management services to private and public sector clients. Prior to that, he worked with External link opens in new tab or windowErnst & Young's risk advisory services team in Dublin in a similar role, after a career with a German bank-assurance group spanning 25 years. Thomas is associated with a large number of professionals in several countries, covering a wide range of disciplines.

Thomas obtained a PhD for his research into organisational trust behaviour in crisis management. Thomas is also a qualified and certified banking professional (BA), with a Masters degree in Audit Management & Consultancy. In addition, he is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and also holds the Institute of Internal Auditors' specialty designations Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA), Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and the Accreditation in Quality Assessment/Validation (CQA).
