Research & Consultancy

Serious business related problems cannot be solved quickly. It requires analysis of the status quo (What is the actual problem?), reflection on causes and effects, and designing the solution (What should the situation look like when the problem is solved?).

Management needs to consider a multitude of aspects, such as financial, legal, regulatory and, not least, human resource implications. Research is the methodical investigation into a subject in order to discover the facts, to establish or revise a theory, and to develop a plan of action based on the facts discovered.

Why work with a consultant?

A consultant is an expert in a specific field. With in-depth knowledge of the subject matter, a consultant typically works for a consultancy firm or is self-employed, and engages with multiple and changing clients. Thus, clients have access to deeper levels of expertise than would be feasible for them to retain in-house, and purchase only as much service from the outside consultant as desired.

The services offered by Reflektion-Plus Consulting (and by other professionals associated with it) clearly lend themselves to be co-/outsourced. At present we focus on internal audit and risk management, plus bespoke organisational develoment and performance assessment and improvement services:

1. You have a specific business problem that needs to be solved – fast, effective and efficient. That’s where you need an experienced project manager.

2. Your organisation has realized the need for change but management and staff don’t know how to handle it – or are afraid of commencing the ‘journey’. That’s when you need a change manager who provides the outside perspective and is still sensitive to the implications and consequences that a change programme entails.

3. You have realized that you need help within your management team – but maybe only temporarily. That’s when you should consider hiring an interim manager who hits the ground running and works effectively with the other managers and leaders in the organisation.

As you know: When you need a safe pair of hands - experience counts.
